Danish Doc Production Partnership is Danish film Production Company with the objective to develop, finance, and produce documentaries within the domain of social matters, humanities and scientific subjects. Geographically the documentaries go beyond the Danish borders, reaching the Nordic countries, many locations around Europe and places like Cuba and Eastern Europe.

Founded in autumn 2003, nevertheless both the founding partners, director and film photographer, Ms. Anja Dalhoff and producer, Ms. Gitte Randløv, have accumulated 15 – 20 years of experience encompassing the entire field of documentary film production, development, financing, production, co-production both national and international. They have worked together for a number of years but until founding Danish Doc Production Partnership as employees with other production companies.

The qualifications of the founders complement each other to a synergetic level – on both a creative and administrative level. A number of directors are linked to Danish Doc Production with projects of their own. As is common in the business, the company hires on a freelance basis professional assistance for editing, music and sound engineering.

Danish Doc Production enjoys a close cooperation with among others The Danish Film Institute, DR TV, TV2/Denmark, YLE/Finland, RUV/Island, NRK/Norway. Furthermore, there is excellent cooperation with the Danish Ministry of Social Affairs, Ministry of Education, Royal Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Science and a range of private foundations.

Danish Doc Production is a member of the Danish Producers Association which organizes professional Danish film and TV-producers and EDN, European Documentary Network.

The vision of Danish Doc Production is to produce only documentaries with the highest quality which will affect the viewers. This no matter if the subject is some of the weakest in our society, a cultural phenomenon or complicated scientific and historical matters. We do insist not to compromise on the level of quality and high production value.
